For this laundry renovation in Arncliffe, the client came to us with a long, narrow space that was difficult to use day to day. We designed, built and installed custom laundry joinery that makes the room feel brighter, more functional and far more enjoyable to work in.

Maximising a Tight Laundry Layout

The new layout runs along a single wall to keep circulation clear, with tall storage at one end and bench space above the washer and dryer. Overhead cabinetry and open shelving provide room for linen, cleaning products and baskets without crowding the narrow walkway.

Dulux Casper White Quarter and Shaker Detail

Classic shaker‑style cabinet doors finished in Dulux Casper White Quarter keep the laundry feeling light and clean. The subtle profile adds interest and works beautifully with the existing home, without overwhelming the compact room.

Warm Timber Accents and Brass Hardware

To soften the white joinery, we introduced Polytec Tasmanian Oak accents to the benchtop, open shelving and seating. Kethy BH157 Cornet brass handles add a refined touch and tie in with the warm timber tones, giving this Arncliffe laundry a contemporary yet welcoming feel.

V‑Groove Panelling for Character

V‑groove back panelling runs the length of the laundry, adding textural interest and a subtle coastal feel. It also visually unifies the bench seat and overhead storage, making the space look considered rather than just “tacked on” to the rear of the home.
